- Get the latest updates for all software

Fraud can occur when someone sends out an email that looks like it came from a financial institution or other trusted organization.
Tips to protect yourself:
- Don’t open emails from senders you don’t know
- Avoid accessing a web site from a link in an email, especially if that web site asks for personal information
- Be wary of phishing emails; these may appear to be from a bank, but are from criminals trying to lure you to a fake website to get your personal information
- Banks will never end you emails asking your disclose PIN numbers, password or other personal information
- Don’t write down your passwords or PIN’s
- Don’t include personal or sensitive data in an email
